A flat containing small slab of Ocean Jasper. They are all rounded and polished on the sides as well as the tops and bottoms. This kind of slab we call medalions. |

Price: $6 to $20 each
The cost of these slabs is from $6 for small ones up to $30 each for larter ones. We have even larger and better ones for more money. The price depends on the size and the quality of the agate. How colorfull the agate, and how pretty the pattern.These agate/jasper slabs are from about 5 to 7 mm in thickness and vary in size. Ocean Jasper is found in a remote area of the north west coast of Madagascar.
I think that in ten years or less that these slabs will be things of the past and rarely available. They will be like the fine Laguna agates from Chihuahua, Mexico and bring comparable prices.
